For Builders

I understand that a mortgage isn’t happening by itself.

There’s a contract, a closing date, another professional’s client relationship, inspections, appraisals, title work, builder timelines, movers, families, and often another transaction sitting somewhere in the chain.

What I can take today

Currently originating non-QM financing for investment and second-home properties. I’m individually licensed; the states are listed at the bottom of this page.

Financing for a buyer’s primary home is coming once state approvals are final. This page will announce when approvals are granted.

Both sides of lending

I’ve worked on both sides of the lending experience: high-volume retail and builder business, and the slower, investigative work required by complex broker files.

I’ve also had a hand in seeing more than 6,000 mortgage closings through to fruition.

That matters when we’re working together.

Builder lending is a big part of where I come from, and I want to partner with builders again.

New construction

New construction isn’t simply a purchase with a longer closing date.

Builder business made that especially clear.

Those transactions can be unusually detailed and deadline-sensitive, with more parties, moving pieces, incentives, amendments, construction timelines, and dependencies to manage.

So when I’m looking at financing, I’m not only looking at whether I can find a loan program.

I’m looking at the transaction around it.

Builders and teams

Tell me what you’re working on.

Tell me who you are, where you build, and what you’d like: a new-construction scenario, mortgage education for your team, or an introduction. Please leave buyer names and finances out of this form — when there’s a file, your buyer writes in themselves.

Rather talk it through? (704) 737-4567 — that’s Amina.

A new-construction scenario

A buyer, a contract or a timeline you’re working through. The outline is enough — no buyer documents.

Mortgage education for your team

How the financing side of a new-construction file moves, and what tends to need attention before closing. Topics vary: ask for my list, or I’ll build a session around the topics your firm wants. In person or virtual, usually 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the topics and the questions.

It’s education, not a pitch. It’s open to any team, whether or not you’ve ever worked with me, and nothing is expected in return.

What would you like?

No buyer names or finances, please.
